The CBRE Global Investors Dutch Retail team has partnered with W4Y on realizing its ESG ambitions and goals for many years.

Collaboration has started from 2011, where W4Y has partnered with CBRE Global Investors to (re)certify its strategic shopping center portfolio with BREEAM-NL In-Use. In addition, W4Y has advised us very well in the improvement process of several shopping centers, which resulted in BREEAM Outstanding (both Asset and Management) for SC Heuvel in Eindhoven and BREEAM Excellent (also both Asset and Management) for SC Koopgoot in Rotterdam.

In 2018 W4Y has partnered as expert and coordinating advisor in the BREEAM-NL In-Use portfolio certification of the CBRE Dutch High Street Club. The BREEAM-portfolio consisted of 20 assets (280,000 sqm.) and is regarded as the largest retail portfolio that has been certified with BREEAM-NL In-Use at once in The Netherlands. W4Y has managed the whole certification process on a stand-alone basis and achieved the certification of this large portfolio within the agreed short time frame of 6 months.

Recently, in June 2019 W4Y partnered as expert and coordinating advisor of 39 assets in predominantly the CBRE Dutch Retail Fund. Therewith, the total strategic retail portfolio of CBRE Global Investors in The Netherlands has been BREEAM certified with W4Y. Again, W4Y has managed the certification process on a stand-alone basis and achieved to certify the large portfolio within an agreed time frame of 6 month.

We are very delighted with the professional, systematic and pro-active approach of W4Y. In addition, the team has great project management skills to service high demands of its clients.
